Man charged after complaint involving minor in Cave City

CAVE CITY, Ky. – A man has been charged in relation to an alleged online exchange involving a minor.

The Cave City Police Department says on Aug. 27, officers responded around 10:16 p.m. for a complaint involving a female juvenile.

Upon arrival, police say they gathered information and conducted an investigation.

As a result, Thurman J. Ray, 39, was arrested. He is charged with unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities.

Ray was transported to the Barren County Detention Center.
