1 flown after truck and dump truck collide in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – One person was flown following a crash on Monday in Scottsville.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the 6300 block of Franklin Road for a two-vehicle injury collision with entrapment.

Deputies say a 2012 Ford F-250 operated by David Crone was traveling east on Franklin Road.

A 1996 Peterbilt dump truck operated by Will Francis was traveling west when the two vehicles collided in the westbound lane on Franklin Road, authorities say.

Crone was flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center.

Francis reported no serious physical injuries on the scene.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Allen County EMS, Scottsville and Stony Point fire departments.

The investigation is ongoing.
