The Louisville Orchestra heads to Glasgow

BOWLING GREEN, KY.- The Louisville Orchestra is back and could be visiting cities closest to you.
The Louisville Orchestra received $4.3 million from the Kentucky State Legislature allowing them to continue touring. They also are making an impact on local communities for two more years.

Teddy Abrams, the Louisville Orchestra music director, tells us the locations they are going to and what people can expect. Teddy says, “We are going to be in Taylorsville, Campbellsville, Bardstown, and Glasgow playing the music of America. We’re going to hear soul, funk, Motown, and music from across the spectrum of orchestral repertoire. “
The orchestra’s performance is making more than a musical impact, it’s giving people the chance to experience music in a way that most people can’t.
Sarah Lempke O’hare, the director of education and community partnerships, shares the impact of the orchestra. She says, “It really shows the impact that we have made on the communities, throughout Kentucky, that this idea that everyone should have access to these amazing experiences and that the state supports that, I think shows, that this is a vital service for communities across the Commonwealth.”
The Louisville Orchestra will be performing in Glasgow tomorrow for more details visit https://louisvilleorchestra.org/.
