2 dead after head-on collision on I-165

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two people have died following a head-on collision on Interstate 165 in Warren County.
Troopers say they responded around 10 p.m. Tuesday night to to the 2.2 mile marker northbound on I-165.
The Kentucky State Police says a preliminary investigation found that a silver Chevrolet Cruze operated by Angela Dockery, 44, of Morgantown, Kentucky was traveling south in the northbound lane of I-165 when it struck a yellow Dodge Charger operated by Kinsley DeMontigny, 23, of Henderson, Tennessee head on.
Dockery was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers say.
DeMontigny was transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green, where troopers say she later died from her injuries.
News 40 has since confirmed with deputy coroner Phillip Wheeler with the Warren County Coroner’s Office that a toxicology report showed alcohol was in Dockery’s system during the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
