167 grams of suspected methamphetamine seized from home; man arrested
GLASGOW, Ky.- The Barren River Drug Task Force arrested a man, who authorities said possessed nearly 200 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Authorities have charged Ronald Woodard, 45, with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a news release from the Task Force, authorities conducted a traffic stop on Woodard this past Wednesday. They said he had a bag of suspected methamphetamine in his beltline, which weighed approximately 14 grams.
Police then searched Woodard’s home in Glasgow, where they said they discovered approximately 167 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, which appeared to have been packaged for resale.
Detectives said they also discovered digital scales and a large amount of cash, most of which was vacuum sealed.
Woodard was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
