New security measures start for Nashville Covenant School

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – On Wednesday, a new school year started for students and staff at The Covenant School in Nashville.
Classes resumed at a temporary location after March’s deadly shooting when three children and three adults were killed at the private Christian school.
Covenant students are starting the year at Brentwood Hills Church of Christ.
The school has hired new security from a firm called Covert Results.
The company says their officers are equipped with bulletproof backpacks and emergency supplies.
Also, more than 100 volunteers were scheduled to patrol the areas surrounding the school Wednesday.
