Double Dogs presents check from beer sales to BG-WC Humane Society
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Beer lovers are giving back to an animal shelter in Bowling Green.
On Thursday night at Double Dogs restaurant on Scottsville road, restaurant employees presented a check for $13,740 to the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society and the Nashville Humane Association.
Over the past year, since the release of the restaurant’s Diddley Lager, Double Dogs and Braxton Brewing Company have generated $20 from each keg sold. All of that money is now headed to the shelters.
The beer is named after Diddley, a dog that belonged to the owner of Double Dogs.
