Woodburn Christmas Parade to roll out this Saturday

WOODBURN, Ky. – It’s been going on since 1994 and still pushing strong. Woodburn’s Christmas parade is back again in full swing.

Starting from the Woodburn Ball Park, the parade will feature vintage vehicles, as well as tractors.

Chief Bob Skipper of the Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department said Santa will be there handing out candy, along with judges who will look over the floats and hand out trophies.

The parade starts at noon this Saturday, leaving plenty of time to visit Bowling Green’s Jaycees Christmas parade at 9:30 a.m. before you see Woodburn’s parade.

Skipper said whoever wants to hop in the parade is welcome to do so. He just asks that you show up before 11:30 a.m. so they have a spot for you.

If you chose, they are also accepting a Toys for Tots donation as an entry or spectator contribution.
