U.S. 31-W Bypass in Bowling Green planned to reopen temporarily tonight

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The U.S. 31-W Bypass between U.S. 231 Broadway Avenue and East 15th Avenue is expected to temporarily reopen late tonight.

Bowling Green Municipal Utilities is expected to stop work over the weekend on the road. The section is expected to close again on Monday morning.

BGMU says the project being done may be finished by Tuesday night to allow the road to reopen, weather permitting. The U.S. 31-W Bypass was closed in this section earlier this week as BGMU began a utility project.
