National Cinema Day a huge success in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Saturday’s $3 movie day was a big hit at movie theaters across the country and here in Bowling Green.

The Regal theatres here in town reduced their ticket prices down to $3 in celebration of National Cinema Day.

Movie theaters made over $24 million in ticket sales, which is a 9% increase from the previous week. And Regal theatres here in Bowling Green saw their highest business since the release of “Avengers: Endgame” all the way back in 2019.

After many families and couples filed in, the most popular movie you all watched was “D.C. League of Super-Pets.”
