Performing Arts Center at BGHS to open in November
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Yesterday, Bowling Green City Schools opened up for the new school year. Now, with school in session at Bowling Green High School, students get to enjoy many of the new improvements and additions, such as the Performing Arts Center.
Once they have added the wooden panel sides of the stage and a few other fixes, the Performing Arts Center at Bowling Green High School will be finalized. For now, it allows the students to see what their new auditorium looks like, and meetings have been hosted in this new space.
“We know that when students get involved in co-curricular activities, like the arts, they perform better academically and of course, you know, a lot of students may want to pursue this in the future, but others just wanna have a great high school experience and we think we can fit both needs with a space like this and the programs we offer here at Bowling Green High School,” said Kyle McGraw, Principle of Bowling Green High School.
The Performing Arts Center will be completely finished and will be ready for performances this November.
