Glasgow man and woman arrested on drug charges

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man and woman are facing multiple drug charges after police conducted a search on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, June 14, the Glasgow Police Department responded to Valley View Drive in reference to a domestic complaint.
According to police, officers conducted a search of the residence, where they discovered digital scales, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Officers also located a child asleep on a mattress on the floor and requested the Department Of Social Services to the scene, stated police.
Richard N. Short, 43, of Glasgow was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Katherine M. Moore, 34, of Glasgow was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Both were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
