Local school honors student with fire alarm drill

BARREN CO- This morning at  at the Barren County High School  InnZone they held  a LEAH Alarm program in honor of Leah Carter. Under the direction of Barren County High School engineering teacher, Carl Owens, the system was developed by students from BCHS and Barren County Area Technology Center as a warning system for high water over low water ford bridges.  The Barren County Transportation Department, along with Glasgow/Barren County Emergency Management will deploy the alarms at five test sites within Barren County. The alarm model in the classroom, the grey boxes are parts to the 5 test alarms that will be place in the county at low water fords
