5-year-old killed in car crash laid to rest in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A little girl who died as the result of a car crash in Bowling Green was laid to rest Monday morning.
More than 200 mourners packed the J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel to say goodbye to Jude Wilson, 5.
Those in attendance at the celebration of life were asked to wear bright, fall colors in honor of Jude.
After the service, Jude was buried at Bowling Green Gardens.
Jude died last Wednesday at Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, following a car crash on Friday, December 28 on Cemetery Road.
Two other girls who were riding with Jude, Norah Wilson, 7, and Hannah Wilson, 9, remain hospitalized.
