5 arrested following Hart County ATV thefts

HART COUNTY, Ky. – Five people are facing charges in connection with multiple ATV thefts in Hart County.
The Hart County Sheriff’s Department says it received information on Tuesday about several recent thefts of ATVs that took place since Dec. 26.
On Jan. 3, the sheriff’s department says it worked with the Kentucky State Police to find multiple stolen ATVs at two different locations within the county, which included Eudora Road and Rowletts Cave Springs Road in Horse Cave, Kentucky.
The following arrests resulted from the discovery:
- Ryan Stinson, 22, of Horse Cave, who faces charges of receiving stolen property, between $1,000 and $10,000, engaging in organized crime, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and possession of marijuana.
- Richard Perry, 42, of Louisville, Kentucky, who faces charges of engaging in organized crime and receiving stolen property between $1,000 and $10,000, along with three outstanding warrants.
- Travis Lee Shepherd, 32, of Cave City, who faces charges of engaging in organized crime, receiving stolen property between $1,000 and $10,000, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and an outstanding warrant.
- Jonathan Ray Nunn III, 27, of Horse Cave, who faces charges of engaging in organized crime, possession of marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and receiving stolen property between $1,000 and $10,000.
- Lashauna Wells, 39, of Bowling Green, who faces charges of receiving stolen property between $1,000 and $10,000, engaging in organized crime, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and possession of marijuana.
All five individuals were taken to the Hart County Jail.
