4 cited for illegal fishing in Simpson County

SIMPSON COUNTY, Ky. – Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Law Enforcement seized illegal fishing materials in Simpson County.

According to a release, KFWLE responded to a complaint of individuals illegally fishing off Eubanks Road on August 23.

Wardens located four individuals who attempted to hide from law enforcement near a creek. They were trespassing on the property.

The four individuals did not have valid fishing licenses. 28 undersized smallmouth bass were caught by cast netting.

KFWLE cited the individuals and seized all items connected to the illegal fishing.
