$33.8M project to bring The Dine and Social Play House to Simpson County

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear has announced a multi-million dollar tourism project is bringing a new entertainment destination to Simpson County.
Beshear said in the announcement Tuesday the $33.8 project will fund the construction of The Dine and Play Social House.
Along with 163 jobs, with 13 full-time and 150 part-time positions, the governor’s office says the area can expect a family-friendly entertainment spot.
The space, spanning 45,000 square feet, will attach to a full-service Hampton Inn hotel. Beshear’s office says within the walls, families can look forward to a bowling alley, an arcade, mini golf, axe throwing, and indoor and outdoor social game areas complete with ping pong, billiards and fowling as well as rentable event space and a restaurant.
The project is expected to generate nearly $102.2 million in net new spending over 10 years.
The complex is expected to open by 2026.
