School bus crash sends 3 students to hospital in northern Kentucky

BURLINGTON, Ky. – A school bus crash in northern Kentucky has sent three students to the hospital.

It happened early Wednesday around 6:30 a.m. in Burlington, Kentucky.

According to fire officials, the driver of the school bus suffered a medical emergency, crashed through trees and stopped in a backyard.

Three students were transferred to the hospital with what are described as minor injuries.

Officials say the driver had CPR performed and was revived and was also taken to a hospital.

The condition of the bus driver is not known at this time.
