3 injured after crash into tractor-trailer in Logan County, authorities say

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – Three people were taken to hospitals for treatment after a crash Sunday involving a car and tractor-trailer.
Deputies say they responded to Nashville Road and Wilhelm Road to investigate an injury collision.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, a white Chevrolet Malibu was traveling westbound on Wilhelm Road when it crossed into the path of the tractor-trailer for unknown reasons. The tractor-trailer had been traveling northbound on Nashville Road when the car crashed into the passenger side of the truck and trailer, authorities say.
The sheriff’s office says the Chevrolet Malibu left the road and overturned twice after hitting a ditch line.
Authorities say contributing factors in the crash were inattentiveness and speed.
Two people were transported by EMS to Northcrest Hospital for their injuries.
One other person was transported to Logan Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
