3 arrested following vehicle search in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A vehicle search Monday morning led to three arrests in Warren County after authorities say they discovered a large amount of illegal drugs.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says it responded for a vehicle partially blocking the entrance to the Bowling Green Fire Department on Morgantown Road.

Once deputies arrived, authorities say they searched the vehicle and found more than 300 M-30 fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, marijuana, MDMA, two handguns, cash, several digital scales and other paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

William Edgin, 34, of Rockfield, Mikaylah Howard, 21, of Bowling Green and Christian Radford, 23, of Bowling Green were taken to the Warren County Detention Center.

Howard is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (fentanyl), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Edgin is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (fentanyl), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Radford is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (fentanyl), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Radford was additionally arrested on an outstanding warrant for theft of identity of another without consent, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation is ongoing.
