Crews begin work on Rich Pond Elementary roadway project

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 is working on a project that will impact a local school.

According to officials, construction of a school safety improvement project has started on KY 242 for Rich Pond Elementary School.

Crews are working on a new left turn lane into the school.

Officials say that vehicle operators can expect lane closures and delays while traveling in the area until the first part of August.
