2026 Kentucky Acoustic Music Festival lineup announced, tickets on sale

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The lineup is now available for the seventh edition of the Kentucky Acoustic Music Festival on Saturday, Dec. 12.
According to Western Kentucky University, a headliner this year is one that has caused an audience demand for an encore and a repeat performance.
The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. at The Capitol theatre at 416 E. Main Ave. in Bowling Green.
According to organizers, the festival will celebrate the holiday season with headliner The Kody Norris Show, an award-winning bluegrass group that features Bowling Green’s own Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris.
Known for their rhinestones and fringe, the university says the band blends “nostalgia and originality for an unforgettable night of country and bluegrass music.” They have graced the stage at ROMP, the Ryman, the Grand Ole Opry, Dollywood, and now the university says they will be coming back to The Capitol.
Joining the lineup is Kentucky based cellist, singer and songwriter Ben Sollee. This Emmy-winning composer works “at the intersection of art and social impact,” the university says. His new album “Time on Hold” has a country vibe, inspired by the genre’s sound in the early 1970s.
In addition, Mt. Victor Revue will be the opening act. Featured on WKU Public Media’s award-winning Lost River Sessions, this self-described “popgrass” band plays covers and originals, with something for everyone.
The 10th anniversary of the first Kentucky Acoustic Music Festival is focused on benefitting three local nonprofits that all enrich our community: The Capitol, the Kentucky Museum and WKU Public Media, the university states.
Tickets are on sale at capitolbg.org for $20, fees included.
