2020 Freedom Ride event to take place Saturday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A veteran’s appreciation event is set to take place Saturday.

The 2020 Freedom Ride will take place Saturday morning at the VFW post 1298 in Bowling Green. The beginning lineup will be at 10 a.m., and the ride will officially start at 11.

The entrance fee will be $30, and that price will include the ride, T-shirt and hot chili. The event will include a live silent auction from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and live music later at 6 p.m.

Post commander Glenn Skaggs said these are tough times for the veteran community, and this event will be a good chance to get them out for some safe fun.
