Superhero 5K raises funds for local organization

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Saturday, runners and walkers dressed as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and even the Incredibles, as they participated in the CASA Superhero 5k at Ephram White Park in Bowling Green.
Casa stands for Court-Appointed Special Advocates. In south central Kentucky, CASA works to help children who are victims of abuse, neglect, and dependency. All special advocates are volunteers.
The Superhero Run is a way to raise awareness about the work that CASA does, as well as raise funding for the non-profit agency.
