EDDYVILLE, Ky. – Two people are dead and another is being treated for serious injuries after a crash in Lyon County on Tuesday.

According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers received a report of a four-vehicle collision near the 42 mile-marker on Interstate 24 in Lyon County.

Authorities say during a preliminary investigation, they found that a 2000 Honda Passport driven by Tiffany Anderson, 44, of Hopkinsville was traveling westbound on I-24 with passengers Tara Rex, 52, of Hopkinsville, James Simmons, 42, of Paducah, James Sanders, 49, of Hopkinsville and Brian Holt, 50, of Cadiz.

Troopers say a 2020 international truck and trailer driven by Tomas Almaguer-Martinez, 54, of Guadalupe, Mexico was also traveling westbound on I-24 with a passenger, Antioco Garcia-Morales, 31, of Mexico City.
