2 dead, 1 being treated after collision on New Glasgow Road
ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. – Two people are dead and a third is being treated after a two-car collision in Allen County on Tuesday.
According to Kentucky State Police public affairs officer trooper Katan Parker, KSP received a call at 1:40 p.m. to respond to the 4,400 block of New Glasgow Road for a two-vehicle fatal collision.
Preliminary investigation of the scene indicates a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by 77-year-old Roger Tooley of Scottsville was traveling south when it crossed the center line entering the path of a 2013 Kia Optima driven by 40-year-old Amanda Robledo.
A passenger in Roger’s truck, 81-year-old Rebecca Tooley was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County Coroner’s office. Roger and Robledo were both airlifted to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment. While in Nashville Robledo was pronounced dead due to her injuries.
Accident reconstruction is underway by Detective Bo Hubbard.
