2 children flown after collision at Veterans Memorial Lane intersection

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two children were flown to a hospital after a crash on Veterans Memorial Lane around midnight Friday, according to police.

Bowling Green Police Department public information officer Ronnie Ward says the operator of a vehicle ran a light at Veterans Memorial Lane and Tomblinson Way.

According to Ward, this vehicle stuck another vehicle in a T-bone collision.

No injuries were reported from the vehicle that was struck, Ward says.

However, two children in the vehicle that ran the light were flown. It is currently not known why the children were flown out.
