1 flown for injury treatment following Glasgow crash

GLASGOW, Ky. – One person was flown for treatment following a two-vehicle crash in Glasgow.
According to a release, the Glasgow Police Department responded to the intersection of Happy Valley Road and Shalimar Drive to an accident with injury on March 19.
GPD says the preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle, driven by Patricia McCandless, attempted to pull out from Shalimar Drive onto Happy Valley Road. McCandless did not see a vehicle traveling westbound on Happy Valley Road driven by Paula Ball, according to the release.
The vehicles collided, and McCandless sustained injuries.
McCandless was transported to TJ Samson Community Hospital and later flown to Skyline Hospital in Nashville for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
