UPDATE: 1 fatality reported after Barren Co. house fire

GLASGOW, Ky. – One person is dead following a house fire in Barren County.

According to Barren County coroner Tim Gibson, a house fire occurred Thursday on Coral Hill Halfway Road.

The initial call came in to the 911 center at 8:47 a.m., according to Gibson.

Gibson confirmed the victim has been identified as 71-year-old James Lane.
