Wright named CREATE programs director

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Central Region Ecosystem for Arts, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (CREATE) announced Kelly Glasser Wright as its new Programs Director, effective July 1.

Wright will work with entrepreneurs who are launching or running companies in the technology sector or are in some way tech-enabled or innovation-led, according to a media release.

CREATE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is a part of the KY Innovation Hubs network, which brings mentorship, resources, and ecosystem connections to entrepreneurs across the Commonwealth through six regional offices, funded by the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. It serves entrepreneurs in a 12-county region that includes Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hancock, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Ohio, Simpson, and Warren Counties.

The organization is hosting a meet-and-greet with Wright for entrepreneurs and partners on August 19 at 4:30 pm at the Western Kentucky Innovation Campus, located at 2413 Nashville Road in Bowling Green.
