Workforce website for Bowling Green and Warren County residents
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Warren County and the city of Bowling Green partnered together in efforts to help the currently unemployed/underemployed individuals and to attract new talent to the South Central Kentucky area by connecting with CrowdSouth.
CrowdSouth will be maintaining the new website, BowlingGreenWorks.com. This website will help those in need of a job in sectors that include manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, education, construction, logistics, and more.
In the beginning of 2022, there were approximately 4,000 job positions. Now there are up to 8,000 total open job positions in the ten county Barren River development district area.
Public Information Officer, Deborah Highland West shared that the website will be “going live this week, BowlingGreenWorks.com is a step in an effort to connect employers and employees. We have all of these open positions to fill and we’d like to put people in those positions.” She also expressed, “This helps everyone. This is a free service. It helps employers and also helps the unemployed. So it’s a win-win for everyone.”
