Workforce development board holds open-air job fair
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The South-Central Workforce Development Board held a socially distanced job fair Thursday.
The open-air job fair was held at the Bowling Green Ballpark. Job seekers had the chance to meet with some employers looking for new hires.
Both employers and those stopping by were required to be masked, and temperature checks were taken upon entry. Attendance was kept to a minimum to ensure everyone was social distancing as much as possible.
President and CEO of the South-Central Workforce Development Board Dr. Robert Boone said he was thankful for the Bowling Green Hot Rods allowing his organization to use their resource.
