Historic Woodbury structure destroyed after being struck by lightning

WOODBURY, Ky. – The City of Woodbury in Butler County has suffered the total loss of a historic building.
According to chief Brandon Keown with Butler County Emergency Management, the building was struck by lightning during recent storms.
The Green River Museum shared more background about the building. Museum officials stated the structure was the last section of the old government warehouse, which was constructed at the end of the 19th century.
The structure is a total loss.
