Women’s Leadership Conference draws in more than 100 attendees
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- On Wednesday, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce’s 3rd annual Women’s Leadership Conference presented by Graves Gilbert was held at the National Corvette Museum.
Over 100 women from surrounding areas attended the day long event. The conference was created to provide a space for women of all ages and stages in their careers to gather for a day of empowering and motivating speakers.
The women were able to network, visit and shop with local vendors and hear from local, regional and national speakers.
The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce team said their goal of the event is to have the female attendees leave feeling empowered to take control of their own personal and professional success, to feel enlightened by the stories and the speakers and the other women around them, and to be engaged in the chamber, community and the workplace.
“One this is a day for women to really come together and lift each other up while sharing stories. Learning from one another, I mean we’ve had speakers tell incredible stories of triumph and overcoming obstacles,” said Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce CFO and COO Meredith Rozanski.
This year’s theme focused on generations of leadership and featured seven female speakers.
