Women’s Business Center of Kentucky to host workshop

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Women’s Business Center of Kentucky is hosting an entrepreneurship workshop.

It takes place at the WKU Center for Research and Development from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 21.

This is the first event of its kind in Bowling Green, as the WBC has previously only held this in Louisville or Lexington.

The day includes support from local business resources and networking as well as ways to learn important skills.

The WBC is excited to offer this amazing opportunity to the community.

“The collaboration and efforts there from other business resource providers, your entrepreneurial ecosystem, and the collective there. People like to support one another and we want to bring everybody to the table at one event and raise the bar even higher than what’s already set in Bowling Green,” Devanney King, President of the Women’s Business Center of Kentucky says.

This event kicks off a series, which includes a stop in Owensboro.

King says after the pandemic, they felt it would be best to bring this event statewide to give all women the same opportunity.
