Woman sustains minor injuries after driving into path of train
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – First responders received a dispatch to an accident involving a train on Friday morning.
According to Bowling Green Police Department Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward, a woman drove her vehicle into the path of a southbound train at the intersection of 13th Avenue and Clay Street.
The woman sustained minor injuries.
Ward says the train tracks were blocked from West Riverview Drive to 14th Avenue for approximately an hour.
