Woman injured by RV in Smiths Grove

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. – A woman has sustained minor injuries after police say she became trapped underneath an RV in Smiths Grove.

According to Smiths Grove police chief Jason Franks, just after 3 p.m. Friday, a 71-year-old woman was stepping over an RV hitch near Buc-ee’s between the RV and a truck when the driver began pulling the vehicle forward.

Franks says the woman fell and became trapped underneath.

Due to the quick response from a bystander, Franks says the vehicle was stopped quickly.

The woman is being treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to Franks.
