Woman hospitalized after reported assault in Grayson County

GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a reported assault in Grayson County.

According to WNKY News 40 media partner K105, over the weekend, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and the Kentucky State Police made multiple responses regarding a domestic violence situation at a Kefauver Road residence.

K105 reports a woman at the scene was assaulted and hospitalized.

On Sunday night, law enforcement was dispatched around 7:20 p.m. to the same scene for a report that a woman had been assaulted.

The female victim was transported to University of Louisville Hospital, according to KSP Post 4 public affairs officer Scotty Sharp.

The investigation is ongoing.
