Woman flown for treatment after being hit on I-65

FRANKLIN, Ky. – One woman has been flown after being struck by a vehicle early Tuesday on Interstate 65.
Kentucky State Police public affairs officer trooper Katan Parker confirmed KSP responded for a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on I-65 near the southbound Kentucky Welcome Center in Simpson County.
Parker says a woman was parked on the side of the road and was hit after exiting the vehicle.
He says the woman has been flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center. At 12:02 p.m., Parker stated her condition is stable.
