Woman dies following crash in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – One woman is dead following a crash in Christian County.

According to a social media post by Hopkinsville Fire/EMS, the Hopkinsville Fire Department and EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision just after midnight on Friday.

First responders say the crash happened along the 1000 block of Skyline Drive.

According to first responders, the incident involved a head-on collision directly in front of Hopkinsville Fire Station No. 2.

One of the drivers, identified as a 40-year-old female, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County coroner.

The other driver was not injured and refused EMS treatment or transport, according to first responders.

Hopkinsville Police will lead an investigation into the cause of the crash.
