Woman charged with theft of vehicle, handgun

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department arrested a woman on theft charges Thursday.

On May 26, Glasgow police responded to Extreme Fitness Center in reference to a complaint.

According to a release by the police department, officers located Alice A. Stier, 36, and confirmed that the vehicle she had been driving was stolen from a business on West Front Street.

Officers also confirmed a handgun inside the vehicle had been stolen, according to the release.

Stier of Greenwood, Indiana was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an automobile between $1,000 and $10,000 and theft by unlawful taking or disposition of a firearm.

Stier was lodged in Barren County Detention Center.
