Woman arrested after crash that killed driver in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The woman accused of traveling the wrong way on Interstate 65 in Bowling Green earlier this month, subsequently crashing head-on into another vehicle and killing that driver, has been arrested.

Cassandra Garrison, 30, was arrested by Nashville Metro Police Friday morning when she was served with an outstanding Kentucky murder warrant.

The charge stems from the crash on Dec. 2 in Warren County, which resulted in the death of Amy Eakles, 41, of Alvaton.

Garrison, a resident of St. Louis, Mo. is currently lodged in the Hill Detention Center in Nashville awaiting extradition.
