Woman arrested after child found walking alone in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – On Monday, the Glasgow Police Department responded to Shalimar Drive in reference to a complaint of a small child walking alone.

According to a release by GPD, an officer located the child and contacted the Department Of Social Services due to being unable to locate the parent or parents at that time.

The mother of the child was located approximately 58 minutes later, where she stated that she had fallen asleep and the child had walked off, stated the release.

Shelley M. Stilts, 32, of Glasgow was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
