Woman accused of faking cancer for donations appears in Kenton County court
KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) – A woman accused of faking cancer to get donations pleaded not guilty in Kenton County court Monday. Jessica Krecskay is charged with theft by deception for more than $10,000. Krecskay worked for an Urgent Care office in Erlanger. According to the Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney’s office, she told them she was sick. She then collected money she claimed would be used to pay her medical costs. Her boss covered some of her bills.
