HOT WEEKEND, SIZZLING WEEK?
The brief respite from summer heat likely was a welcome event for many across South Central Kentucky. Now, get ready to pay the atmospheric piper for that dance with cooler temperatures because the heat is returning! We’ll see afternoon highs in the upper 80s to low 90s over the weekend then get ready to make a run at the mid-90s towards the middle of next week! There are some indications we may see temperatures “cool” to the low 90s for the second half of next week and an isolated shower may be possible on Thursday. Otherwise it’s going to be a hot, dry stretch. Even morning lows will recover into the mid-70s for much of next week after running quite cool the past few mornings.
