WKU’s PCAL hosts spring festival in downtown BG

BOWLING GREEN, Ky — Downtown Bowling Green was alive with the sounds of music and laughter this weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, WKU’s Potter College of Arts and Letters held the Spring Forward Festival in Fountain Square Park.

People of all ages could come out and enjoy the various activities, such as learning how to use a typewriter or get their likeness captured with a caricature.

Two special guests were also in attendance: University President Timothy Caboni and the Easter Bunny.

This was the college’s first year holding the event, but after this weekend’s turnout, organizers say it may just become an annual occurrence.
