WKU Volleyball’s Hudson wins 700th match

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In a five-set thriller against Northern Kentucky, WKU Volleyball Head Coach Traivs Hudson earned his 700th match victory.

This makes Hudson the 10th active head coach to reach this historic mark and only the 4th to do so at one school.

WKU took set one before falling behind in sets two and three. With their backs on the line, Hudson’s squad bounced back in the fourth and fifth sets to claim the match.

After the match, Hudson says he’s ready for win 701 now that 700 is out of the way.

The Tops have an opportunity for win 701 tomorrow at Diddle Arena as they continue the Holiday Inn — University Plaza Invitational. Their next match is against Toledo at 6 p.m.
