WKU Volleyball Hosts Annual Banquet on Feb. 10

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With another remarkable season in the book during the 2023 calendar year, WKU Volleyball is excited to extend an opportunity to Hilltopper Nation to join the team at its annual banquet on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 12 p.m. CT, on the third floor of the Downing Student Union (DSU) to celebrate the program’s success.

The banquet includes a buffet lunch beginning at 12 p.m., followed by a program to recognize the 2023 student-athletes and historic season. The cost of the banquet is $25 per person, which includes the buffet meal.Parking will be in PS2, between the football stadium and Diddle Arena. DSU is located across the street from the parking structure, with the open entrance being located right next to the WKU Bookstore. Take the elevator the third floor to banquet rooms 3023-3024 on the left.

Supporters may choose to give an additional amount to help sponsor one or more of the players’ meals. The program’s goal is to cover the cost of the players’ meals and awards. Any additional funds will go directly to the Hilltopper Volleyball program.

The deadline to reserve a spot at this year’s WKU Volleyball banquet is Friday, Jan. 26, 2024.Payment for individuals attending the awards banquet can be mailed to WKU Volleyball at 1605 Avenue of Champions Bowling Green, KY 42101. Checks should be made out to WKU Volleyball. All payments must be received prior to the banquet.

In his 29th season at the helm of the program, head coach Travis Hudson led the Hilltoppers to a 30-5 overall record which included a perfect 16-0 mark in Conference USA, the league’s regular season and tournament title, and another Second-Round appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Hudson and the Tops are now leading the nation with the most consecutive 20-win seasons, 24 straight.
