WKU unveils plans for new Gordon Ford College of Business
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A new state-of-the-art building housing the latest in business technology is coming to Western Kentucky University’s campus.
Plans for the new 113,000 square foot Gordon Ford College of Business were unveiled.
The $74 million project will be built on the former site of Tate Page Hall and will have a modern, open space that supports active learning and strong community.
“With Grise, the faculty and staff have done a good job with interacting with students and making them feel a part of the college,” said Christopher Shook, dean of WKU’s College of Business. “But what this building will do is give them a physical place to belong. And I’m hoping. I’m greedy. I want the students to come in in the morning and I don’t want them to leave until late at night.”
The university says the project is scheduled to break ground this summer and is set to be complete by the fall of 2025.
