WKU students, nonprofit hosting free two-day clinic

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For the first time ever in Bowling Green, WKU’s very own Remote Area Medical program is having a free two day pop-up clinic.

All services are completely free. Thanks to students from the WKU RAM program, the UK Dental School, and many other volunteers, hundreds of lives are impacted by the clinic because services like dental, vision, and medical are offered to people who may be underserved.

“We had a lady that had never seen the color of her baby’s eyes because she just couldn’t see it. We got her a pair of glasses and she saw her baby’s eyes in color for the first time,” says Vicki Gregg the Clinic Manager.

No I.D. or insurance is required for the free pop-up clinic. For more information about the two day free clinic visit https://www.ramusa.org/.
